Document is a bound book with a black leather cover and gold stamped lettering and border on cover. Grey, red, blue, black and white coloured end paper and one side of each fly leaf. Red and black ink were used for the border. Red ink was also used for underlining. Black ink was used for script.

--text of document and several blank sheets are affixed by white adhesive tape; sheets lightly soiled; leather slightly worn on edges

Some signatures were written using Cree syllabics.
