Rayson, Phillis : Phillis Rayson is the great great aunt of the donor, Elizabeth M.T. Walker.

Tidy, Mary Elizabeth Stuart, 1893-1980 : Many Elizabeth Stuart Tidy (1893-1980), is representative of a generation of women who saw brothers, husbands and sons go off to war. She also came from a family who contributed to the welfare and intellectual development of early Canada. Her maternal grandfather Dr. William Ford was a surgeon who came to Canada from Scotland in about 1831, married Mary Park, daughter of a United Empire Loyalist from the Niagara Region. He practiced in Ontario and Quebec. Her paternal grandfather, Dr. George W. Strathy was a composer and professor of music and chair of the school of music at Trinity College in Toronto from 1835 to 1880.
