The audio-visual material found in this series pertains to le Groupe de la Place Royale and Le Groupe Dance Lab. Types of records include: sound recordings, video recordings and film reels. Subjects include but are not limited to: promotional videos (public service announcements, promo videos and television show clips); promotional videos of other artists and dance companies; events and festivals; performances (by name of event or by name of choreographer); films of certain original chorographies of Jean-Pierre Perreault, Peter Boneham and Jeanne Renaud performed by the GPR;
radio interviews; rehearsals, school shows and workshops; T.V. commercials, interviews and reports.

Events and choreographic laboratories featured: Le Groupe's 25th anniversary; "The Creative Process"; "The Edge"; "2 Floors-up"; "Studio A series"; "Theatre series"; Canada Dance Festival.

Arrangement note:

Not all the "Creative Process" recordings were kept. A large number of samples were retained for each choreographer featured.
