"This map of the Maritime area was derived from the Bellin chart made two years previous. The striking difference between the two is that the Jefferys' work deals with littoral information only whereas the Bellin map deals with inland riverine and topographic features as well as the coastal information. The map was published in the: Gentleman's Magazine, Jan. 1746, Vol. 16, between pp.72 & 73."
