The collection comprises posters dating back to the last forty years of the nineteenth century and spans the twentieth and most of the first decade of the twenty-first centuries. This historical collection consists principally of posters and advertisements that document concerts and musical events of significance to the Canadian concert scene and that relate to international performances by Canadian musicians and musical companies.
