This album is part of a collection which also includes loose items, artifacts and general ephemera with photographic and philatelic elements.
Album of 24 mount folios, (12 of which are loose folios); and 57 blank folios is comprised of ca. 65 items, including bookplate. With Ex Libris for Kenneth Rowe, inscribed: Ex Libris, beehive image, Lose not an hour, Kenneth Rowe. Album is second of 2 presentation albums assembled by the creator and titled: Canadian Crhistmas Cards 1860-1945, Album, 2. Items include greeting cards, greeting pages, trademarks, bookplates, advertisements, letter-head pages, envelopes, letters, bookmarks, photographs, airgraphs, war saving certificates, and telegrams. Greeting cards are laid down to album pages, only top of folio pages, under Mylar covers sized to fit, sometimes presented with greeting page, side by side, often with introductory and other captions on pages, various sizes.
Items are organized into roughly chronological order (ca. 1907 - ca. 1945), in the following general categories: by firm, or subject. Of note are advertising letters, e.g. T.
