En 1934, leurs noms de plume étaient respectivement Titi-Carabi et Toto-Carabo, et en 1935, Yoyo Tizoune et Noirot Ticoune. Ces albums constituaient une sorte de blogue humoristique avant l'heure, relatant la vie des vacanciers du lac Noir au moyen d'illustrations, de caricatures et de textes.
Ils serviront d'inspiration pour la revue Can-Can, lancée par Chartier et son collaborateur Marcel Tessier à Montréal en 1937, dont le contenu sera alimenté par plusieurs personnalités de la scène artistique et littéraire montréalaise de l'époque.Source:Private -
