This sub-series of photographs documents Paul Martin's activities as a Member of Parliament for the federal riding of LaSalle-Émard. In particular, the sub-series contains photographs taken during election campaigns or activities organized in the constituency, such as brunches and dinners, a Saint Patrick's Day celebration and Remembrance Day, inaugurations, barbecues, festivals and sporting events. There are also photos of constituents who were recognized for their contribution to the community or who visited Parliament. Lastly, the sub-series contains photographs demonstrating Paul Martin's activities as a member of the Official Opposition from 1988 to 1993, specifically his participation in the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro and the visit of Russian President Boris Eltsine in 1992. It also contains photographs of Paul Martin with Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

This sub-series contains colour and black and white photographs, contact sheets and negatives, as well as digital photographs.
