This sub-series contains Norman M. Paterson's personal financial statements which document his investment history as well as his family. The Norman M. Paterson's investment files are arranged in containers 59 to 61. They include financial statements, financial reports and other information relating to companies in which he had an active interest. The investor's advisory material can be found in containers 62 and 74. They consist of market letters, mining periodicals, prospectuses and reports received from 1925 to 1929. The purchase of stocks and bonds made by the Paterson family from 1924 to 1971 are in containers 62 to 64. They also contain transaction correspondence. Securities held by the Paterson family between 1963 and 1987 are in containers 64 to 65. They consist of list of stocks held by family members, Norman M. Paterson & Sons Limited, Paterson Investments Ltd., The Paterson Foundation and Tallwood Holdings. The shareholders' mailings of 1949, 1952, 1956 and one from 1972 to 1985 are in containers 64 to 65. They include quarterly reports, notices of annual meetings and prospectuses for shares held by N.M. Paterson & Sons Limited. The bank books, insurance record books, lists of assets belonging to Norman M. Paterson from 1917 to 1922 are in containers 65 to 66 and include lists of assets for years 1921 and 1922.
