The item is a printed subscription notice for the theatre's season of 1815-1816 by the Society of Young Artists. The Society wish to play in Montreal rather than Québec city.

The Society promises to perform for subscribers four exhibitions in each month from November 15, 1815 to May 15, 1816. The price of tickets is one dollar each for a total of one pound per month. The subscription is to be paid at the end of each month.

The Society gives notice that it will begin the season with the tragedy of the Death of Caesar by Voltaire.

On the back of the page there is a price list of theatre's tools and articles in French for a total of 25 pounds.
