The drive continued to Vancouver the next day, where they met Helen's sister (Marg/Mary) at the University of British Columbia. Helen's uncle Bert took the women on a tour of Vancouver and they took in all of the sights of downtown, the Lions Gate Bridge, Prospect Point and Stanley Park. The following day, the women split up. Audrey and Helen head to Vancouver Island, while Rosemary and Anna go to Garibaldi to continue camping. Rosemary and Anna take a ferry to Squamish, BC, and continue to Garibaldi Provincial Park on the P.G.E. (Pacific Great Eastern).
