Sub-series consists of records relating to various projects and experiments for which the Canadian Space Agency played a supporting role. These projects include commercial satellites for which the Canadian Space Agency provided development support, scientific experiments, research and development of various space-related supporting technologies, and space medicine.

Sub-series consists of textual records documenting space medicine experiments as well as space technology development; the textual records date from 1990 onwards.

Subseries also consists of technical drawings, dating from 1969-1977, documenting various components related to Anik series satellites and their launch.
