Series consists of promotional posters created by the National Museums of Canada Corporation to advertise events and exhibitions at the following institutions under its responsibility, including: National Gallery of Canada, the National Museum of Man (renamed the Canadian Museum of Civilization and now Canadian Museum of History), the Canadian War Museum, and the National Museum of Science and Technology (presently the Canada Science and Technology Museum). The majority of the posters promote various exhibitions and events organized and/or held at these museums.
