This series documents the work of the Right Honourable Herb Gray as the Minister of National Revenue from 1970 to 1972. The correspondence and subject files reflect Mr. Gray's duties as Minister, as well as his roles as a Member of Parliament representing Windsor West and as an Ontario cabinet minister. The material, in particular, documents Mr. Gray's ministerial responsibility for tax reform, foreign investment and ownership, as well as his more regionally focussed interests in auto manufacturing, pollution, immigration and other border-related issues.

Records include correspondence, memoranda, briefings, meeting minutes, speeches, transcripts, newspaper clippings and other textual records.
