Canadian Underwriters' Association : In 1960, the Underwriters' Survey Limited, the Western Canadian Underwriters' Association and the British Columbia Underwriters' Association merged to form the Canadian Underwriters' Association. By the end of the 1970s, digital versions of fire insurance became widely available and the cost of production became too much for the Association. In 1975, the final editions of the company distributed its last edition of its plans. This last date marks the cessation of the firm's cartographic work.
