This sub-sub-series includes original photographs that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada in July 2008.

It includes photographs of Mr. Harper at the Canadian Forces Change of Command Ceremony from former Chief of the Defence Staff General Rick Hillier to new Chief of the Defence Staff General Walter Natynczyk in Ottawa (July 2).

The photographs document French Prime Minister François Fillon's visit to Ottawa (July 2) and his participation in the celebrations marking the 400th anniversary of Québec City, along with the Canadian Prime Minister, Quebec Premier Jean Charest and Québec City Mayor Régis Labeaume (July 3).

The sub-sub-series also documents a visit to Japan by Stephen, Laureen and Ben Harper. The Prime Minister attended the G8 Summit in Hokkaido (July 5-9) before travelling to Tokyo, where he met with Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda (July 10). The Prime Minister and his wife were received by Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko (July 10).
