This sub-sub-series consists of a selection of photographs chosen by the official photographers that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada for the month of April 2008.

It includes photographs of Mr. Harper at the NATO Summit in Bucharest, Romania (April 1-4). The Prime Minister took advantage of his trip to Europe to travel to Poland, where he met with Prime Minister Daniel Tusk and former Polish President Lech Walesa. He visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp (April 4 and 5).

The photographs also document the visit of Icelandic Prime Minister Geir H. Haarde to Ottawa (April 17).

The photographs taken from April 4 to 6 illustrate Laureen Harper's participation in various events related to the 2008 Juno Awards in Calgary: the Juno Awards Chairman's reception, the Juno Awards Gala Dinner and the rehearsal for the televised presentation of the Juno Awards, in Calgary.

The sub-sub-series documents the North American Leaders' Summit between U.S. President George W. Bush, Mexican President Felipe Calderón and Prime Minister Stephen Harper in New Orleans, U.S.A. (April 21 and 22).
