Sub-sub-series consists of Royal Canadian Air Force photographs depicting the operations, activities, and unit personnel of RCAF detachments based in the Gaspé, QC, at Shediac, NB and at Dartmouth, NS. These detachments appear to have consisted of flying boats that were used in "Prevention" duties, patrolling for customs enforcement, likely investigating possible rum-running activity in the Maritime provinces and the approaches to the Saint Lawrence. All photos date from 1932.
