This sub-sub-series includes photographs that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada for the month of August 2015.

It includes photographs of Stephen Harper's visit to Rideau Hall in Ottawa, Ontario, to ask Governor General David Johnston to dissolve Parliament for a general election (August 2). It also includes daily campaign events across Canada during the 2015 Canadian federal election. Stephen Harper participates in political rallies, gives press conferences, and makes announcements (August 2-31). T

opics of the announcements include home renovation tax credit (August 4), security and terrorism in Canada and abroad (August 9), Canada's sovereignty in the Arctic (August 14), infrastructure spending (August 18), natural resource development (August 20), tax relief benefits for adoptive parents (August 20) and the Conservative government's recognition of Quebec as a distinct nation (August 24).
