This sub-series consists of index classification cards that refer to plans in the "Black Books", and to plans in volumes 1-207 of the Land Folio series, MIKAN 4193345.

Some cards might also refer to Property plans and Right of Way plans.

The cards are broken down by numeric and subject classifications, as follows:

Numeric index to lands along former GTR lines;
Numeric index to lands along CNR lines (essentially lines in northern Ontario);
Subject index to lands along former GTR lines in alphabetical order by subdivision name;
Subject index to lands along CNR lines in alphabetical order by subdivision name;
Reference cards pointing to lands along other lines owned by CNR and index cards out of sequence.
