This collection contains postal covers received by various people and organizations. Previously seen as ephemeral, these covers were not included in the archival fonds of the people and organizations reflected. Instead, they were transferred by various manuscript sections and kept by the former National Postal Museum and then returned to the former National Archives. Covers in this collection originate from many different countries.
