This sub-series explores the logistics and organization surrounding Stephen Harper's travels from 2002 to 2011 as Leader of the Opposition and as Prime Minister of Canada. This sub-series documents the tasks performed by the Tour and Scheduling office in managing official events and incoming invitations.

During the period when Stephen Harper was Leader of the Official Opposition (2002-2006), the records mainly pertain to partisan visits for the benefit of the Conservative Party of Canada in all the Canadian provinces. Included, for example, are records documenting attendance at fundraisers, community events, meetings with provincial premiers and chambers of commerce in Canadian cities, as well as extensive invitation-related correspondence.

During Stephen Harper's time as Prime Minister of Canada (2006-2015), these records relate to his official duties such as meetings with federal, provincial, and territorial ministers and premiers as well as with international dignitaries; diplomatic trips abroad; major summits; and partisan activities of the Conservative Party of Canada. Abundant correspondence sent to the Tour and Scheduling office by the Prime Minister's Correspondence office is also present in this sub-series. It includes invitations sent to the Prime Minister with delivery schedules for official correspondence and comments accepting and declining the invitations by the Tour and Scheduling office.

This sub-series contains correspondence, emails, briefing books, mission books, partisan event planning records, expense accounts, schedules, and routes.
