The series documents the administration and operation of the Canadian Council of Professional Fish Harvesters (CCPFH).

Included are CCPFH promotional pamphlets and publications (produced as part of CCPFH programming on topics such as health and safety, financial planning and taxation, responsibile fish harvesting, etc.), by-laws, files of the board of directors and various committees (executive committee, international affairs, legislative etc.), CCPFH general assemblies (the triennial (every three years) national meetings of members), media releases, media monitoring (press coverage of the fishing industry), lobby registration and CCPFH financial statements.

General note:

The CCPFH general assemblies were held in 1997 (Halifax, Nova Scotia), 2000 (Montreal), 2003 (Gatineau, Quebec), 2006 (Vancouver), 2009 (St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador) and 2012 (Vancouver).

The constitutional assembly was held in 1995 at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
