The accession consists of records of the Canadian Association of Library Schools (CALS), documenting graduate education in the library profession. It includes correspondence and other records of the president; agendas and minutes of annual meetings; reports of the secretary-treasurer; reports of the nominating committee; membership lists; reports, research and statistics related to library education and libraries; the constitution and by-laws; records related to the accreditation of library schools; reports from graduate library schools at various universities; and records relating to other organizations, including the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA), Canadian Library Association (CLA), and Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC). There are also audio recordings of the proceedings of conferences and meetings.
