This sub-series (formerly sub-series B II) contains images by photographers such as J.W. Bald, F.W. Micklethwaite, J.B. Livernois, L.A. Hirtle, Holloway Studio, Joseph Nulty, J. Joy, Scott, Allen, and anonymous and includes views and street scenes at the following places: St. John's and Carbonear, Newfoundland; Lunenburg, Nova Scotia; Quebec City, Quebec; Peterborough, Port Carling, Trenton, Toronto, St. Thomas, London, Midland and Penetang, Ontario and views of parades, visits of dignitaries, and events such as the Quebec Tercentenary, at the following places: Quebec City, Quebec, and Midland, and St. Thomas, Ontario.

The sub-series also contains exterior and interior views of factories, hotels, restaurants, stores, offices and homes at the following places: Midland, Peterborough, and Toronto, Ontario; Quebec City, Quebec.

Additionally, the sub-series has views of merchant ships, passenger ships, tugs, dredges, harbour craft, yachts and war ships, as well as shipbuilding, ship launchings and ship repair, in and around the following places: St. John's, Newfoundland; Quebec City, Montreal, Quebec; Kingston, Trenton, Toronto, Muskoka Lakes, Midland, and Port Arthur/Fort William, Ontario and views of canal locks and of various ships using the following canals: St. Lawrence Canal; Rideau Canal; Trent Valley Canal; Welland Canal.

Other forms of transportation depicted in this sub-series include transport trucks, delivery trucks, buses, automobiles, and motorcycles belonging to industries, bus lines and private owners in Toronto, Ontario, and Quebec City, Quebec. There are also fire engines and fire-fighting vehicles belonging to fire departments from provinces all across Canada, and manufactured by Bickle Fire Engines Limited and Waterous Limited.The remaining images consists of views of engines, rolling stock, buildings and views of lines of the following steam and electric railroad lines in Canada and the United States: London & Port Stanley RR; Canadian Atlantic RR; Michigan Central RR; New York Central & Hudson RR; Niagara, St. Catherines & Toronto RR; Canadian National RR; Canadian Pacific RR; National Transcontinental RR; Grand Trunk RR; Temiskaming & Northern Ontario RR; Montreal & Southern Counties RR; St. Paul & Pacific RR; Grand River RR; Lake Erie & Northern RR; Staten Island RR; Boston & Albany RR; Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo RR; Saranac & Lake Placid RR; Wabash RR; Ohio Falls Car Company.

Also included in the sub-series are the original envelopes the negatives were housed in, which often include detailed caption information about the images.
