This sub-series (formerly sub-series B IV) contains images by photographers such as W.A. Traill; L.A. Hirtle; Holloway Studio; J.B. Livernois, Mr. Robinson, and anonymous photographers and includes images of major fires in Toronto, Ontario, 1899 & 1904; the celebration of the end of the South African War, Toronto, Ontario; opening of the Hamilton Airport, Hamilton, Ontario, 1928; funeral of Sir Francois Lemieux, Quebec City, Quebec, 1933; views of St. John's, Newfoundland; Montreal, Quebec; Toronto, Hamilton, Dundas, and Port Dalhousie, Ontario; sealing activity and lumbering operations in Newfoundland and portraits of various unidentified residents of Lunenberg, Nova Scotia.

Various types of commercial and military aircraft at Botwood and Gander, Newfoundland, and at Hamilton, Ontario are also present in this sub-series.
