This sub-series (formerly sub-series B IV) contains images by photographers such as W.A. Traill; L.A. Hirtle; Holloway Studio; J.B. Livernois, Mr. Robinson, and anonymous photographers and includes images of major fires in Toronto, Ontario, 1899 & 1904; the celebration of the end of the South African War, Toronto, Ontario; opening of the Hamilton Airport, Hamilton, Ontario, 1928; funeral of Sir Francois Lemieux, Quebec City, Quebec, 1933; views of St. John's, Newfoundland; Montreal, Quebec; Toronto, Hamilton, Dundas, and Port Dalhousie, Ontario; sealing activity and lumbering operations in Newfoundland and portraits of various unidentified residents of Lunenberg, Nova Scotia.

Additionally, the sub-series contains views of engines and rolling stock of Canadian and American railroads and industrial firms, including the following: Newfoundland RR; Quebec Railway; Light & Power Company; Abitibi Pulp and Paper Company; Dominion Atlantic RR; New Brunswick RR; Grand Trunk RR; Grand Trunk Pacific RR; Grand Trunk Western RR; Canadian Northern RR; Toronto Railway; Canadian Pacific RR; Esquimault & Nanaimo RR; Morrissey Fernie & Michel RR; New York Central RR; New York Midland RR; Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul RR; Baltimore & Ohio RR; Sumpter Valley RR; Montana Southern RR; Union Pacific RR; San Diego & Arizona RR; Los Angeles RR; New York, West Shore & Buffalo RR; Boston & Albany RR; Michigan Central RR; Troy & Boston RR as well as views of shipping, ship building and ship repair at St. John's, Newfoundland; Lauzon and Montreal, Quebec; Kingston, Toronto, Hamilton, Port Dalhousie, Midland, and Collingwood, Ontario; Oswego, New York; and on the Hudson River and ships using the Welland Canal at Port Dalhousie.

Various types of commercial and military aircraft at Botwood and Gander, Newfoundland, and at Hamilton, Ontario are also present in this sub-series.
