There are five daguerreotypes of unidentified men and women, one with some gilding; 2 ambrotypes of unidentified girls and women; 3 carte-size tintypes of unidentified people, including one group of three railway employees; 1 tintype of unidentified woman with lip disfigurement, marked "Paret 297 Bowery"; 1 tintype of unidentified locomotive engineer (?) or other work in a man (eyes scratched out); 1 tintype of a locomotive outside a roundhouse; locomotive marked "581, C.S.R.R."; 1 tintype of man in a canoe with boats in background, labelled "One of the first steamboats to run on the Kawartha Lakes.
