Collection search - Rifle Brigade Album [graphic material]

Album of photographs compiled by an officer of the Rifle BRigade of the British Army, who fought in the Crimea, 1854-56, and whjo was subsequently stationed in Canada in the 1860s. Photographs include views in Hamilton, Grimsby, Niagara, and Kingston, C.W., Montreal and Quebec, C.E., 1860-1869; battlegrounds of the Crimean War, 1855-1856; views of Edinburgh, Scotland and elsewhere in Scotland; views in Killarney and Cork, Irleand; and views of various sites and buildings in England. Officers whose photographs appear in the album include Lord E. Clinton, the Honourable F[rances] Somerville, Major Large, Captain Payne, and an officer named Bowen.
