The fonds is comprised of documentation pertaining to the life and activities of Dr. Nicholas De Mattyasovsky-Zsolnay, including some personal papers, but consisting primarily of records of organizations in which Dr. Zsolnay was involved, often in a leadership role. These include correspondence, reports, minutes and other records of the Canadian Citizenship Council and the Canadian Citizenship Federation, 1951-1995; minutes, correspondence and reports of the Montreal Citizenship Council, 1961-1975; correspondence, clippings and reports relating to the Hungarian Scout movement, 1956-2000; as well as other material pertaining to Dr. Zsolnay and the organizations in which he was involved. Also included are the Michael Nogrady fonds, 1969-1999, consisting of correspondence and mansucripts pertaining to Nogrady's study of the relationship between Hungarian and ancient Sumerian; as well as the Klari Karpati fonds, consisting of correspondence, notes and other documentation, 1929-2001, relating to her background, her work as a scientist as well as to her artistic endeavours.

The collection also consists of 599 slides of water colours by Klari Karpati, a Hungarian Canadian amateur artist.
