Parker on the mountain section of the projected route with comments by Chief Engineer, B.B. Kelliker.
Fonds consists of photographs depicting activities of Mr. C. M. Charles M. Hays was educated in the United States and worked on several railways there before coming to Canada in 1896. He was general manager of the Grand Trunk Railway, from 1896 to 1909 with the exception of a period in 1901 when he was president of the Southern Pacific Railway. In 1905 he became president of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, which was largely his own creation. In 1909 he was appointed president of the Grand Trunk Railway and retained this office until his death in the TITANTIC disaster of 15 April, 1912. Under his direction, the Grand Trunk Railway, suffered intense labour strife.
