Fonds consists of correspondence between A.J. Glazebrook and Lord Grey, 1908-1909, and A.J. Glazebrook and Lord Milner, 1896-1923. Fonds also includes memoranda on international finance and attitudes in the United States during World War I, clippings, and an obituary.

Glazebrook, Arthur James, 1861-1940 : Arthur James Glazebrook, banker and teacher, was born in Hamstead, England and moved to Canada with his parents in 1876. He joined the Federal Bank in Toronto and then returned to England to join the London and County Bank. After returning from overseas in 1883, he joined the Bank of British North America and served at various posts in Ontario, New York, and Eastern Canada, from 1883 to 1897. In 1900 he became an exchange broker in Toronto. An ardent imperialist, he became a prominent member of the Round Table movement. In 1925, he joined the staff of the Department of Political Economy at the University of Toronto. He also helped to establish the Workers' Educational Association.
