Fonds consists of a microfilmed history of the Poultry Science Department at the Ontario College of Agriculture, Guelph, 1894-1968. The work includes descriptions of instructional and research programmes, research facilities, college staff and a list of graduate theses. This material is located on microfilm reel M-1977.

The fonds also contains photographs depicting the activities, facilities, equipment, faculty members and students of the Poultry Science Department of the Ontario Agricultural College, Guelph, Ont., 1894-1968.

Snyder, Earl Stanley, b. 1893 : Born on a farm near Berlin, Ontario, Earl Stanley Snyder joined the staff of the Department of Poultry Husbandry, Ontario Agricultural College, Guelph, after receiving his M.Sc degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1923. As lecturer and professor, he taught degree courses in agriculture, veterinary medicine and household Science.
