The fonds also contains photographs depicting the activities of Everitt Murray throughout his career and a photograph of a portrait drawing of J.G. Adami, n.d.

Also included is a print of a caricature by Bob Conolly; a print of a portrait drawing of G. Lyman Duff by Peter Kellaway; a print of a fisherman; and a postcard of Blundeston Hall, postmarked 1904.

Biography/Administrative history:

Murray, E.G.D. (Everitt George Dunn), 1890-1964 : Born at Johannesburg, South Africa, Everitt Murray attended Christ's College at Cambridge University where he graduated with a B.A. in 1912, M.A. in 1918. He obtained his L.M.S.A. in 1916 at London. He served in W.W.I. as a Captain in R.A.M.C. on the research staff and in the War Office's committee on dysentery. He was published numerous articles on bacteriology and was associate editor of Bergey's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology. Dr. Murray was head of the Department of Bacteriology and Immunity at McGill University in Montreal and a visiting professor at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He also served as Bacteriologist at various other Montreal hospitals.

Dr. Murray was awarded the O.B.E. in 1919 and made F.R.S.C. in 1938. He was a member of numerous associations including the International Society of Microbiologists, Canadian Public Health Association and the Society of American Bacteriologists.
