Collection consists of miscellaneous microfilmed records of disbursements approved by the Board of Accounts, Halifax, for lodging expenses incurred by officers, and disbursements made in Barracks Departments at Annapolis Royal (1789), Shelburne (1798-99) and Sydney (1799). Includes account for food supplied to volunteers and garrison staff of Island St. Johns (sic) [P.E.I.] (1799, July) and disbursements to Royal Nova Scotia Regiment, Sydney and the 7th Regiment or Royal Fusiliers, Halifax (1799). Also included are Memorials for pensions for William Mitchell of the 48th Regiment (1781) and Murdoch McKenzie of the 79th Regiment of Foot (1789); Engineer Dept. expenses, New Brunswick (1800); and Warrant of Receiver-General to pay William Duncan to construct road from Coteau du Lac to the Province Line, Lower Canada (1828).
