Fonds consists of trip diary of J.H.S. Jones and travelogue by his uncle describing the May 1912 tour of Canada by delegates of the British Brotherhood movement. Included are descriptions of meetings with members of the Canadian Brotherhoods and of the founding meeting of the Brotherhood Federation of Canada (Canadian Brotherhood Federation). Also included in the fonds are photographs, 1912, of views of Canadian cities visited during this tour.

Jones, J.H.S, fl. 1912 : In May 1912 J.H.S. (Stanley?) Jones and his uncle were part of a delegation from the British Brotherhood movement which toured central Canada. The British group met with members of the Canadian Brotherhoods, an interdenominational Protestant movement whose philosophy was closely allied to the Social Gospel. The main event on the tour was the founding convention of the Brotherhood Federation of Canada (also known as the Canadian Brotherhood Federation), held in Toronto and attended by the British group as fraternal delegates. Other points on their itinerary were Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, Kingston, and New York.
