Olmstead, Gideon, fl. 1832-1839 : Gideon Olmstead born at Hull Township, son of Gideon Olmstead and Esther Andrews. Olmstead was married to Ann Tabor and father to seven children. He was the owner of a mill on the Rideau River. Gard, Anson A. Pioneers of the Upper Ottawa : And The Humors of the Valley. Ottawa : The Emerson Press, [1906].
