Egmont Bay Road Seed Club : The Egmont Bay Road Seed Club was one of the numerous grain banks established among the Acadian communities of Prince Edward Island between the years 1869 and 1879, and chartered under a covering Legislative enactment of 1868. The Club was organized in May 1869, and continued in existence until 1947. Its operations were typical of the grain bank as a whole.
