Ottawa Canoe Club : The Ottawa Canoe Club was established in 1883 and incorporated in 1894. In that year, the Ottawa Canoe Club-House Company (Limited) was incorporated under the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1887, Cap. 157, with the object of erecting and maintaining a boat-house for rental or sale.
