Fonds consists of an account of expenditure of money, rendered by Peregrine T. Hopson as Governor of Louisbourg and received from the Paymaster General, 1747-1749 (parchment, formerly a roll now segmented into 9 pages); a statement of fees in the Pipe Office between 17 September 1747 and 18 August 1749 (1 page); and a letter to Hopson's agent from Major Christopher Aldridge, St. John's, Nfld., regarding pay, clothing and recruits for his company, 4 August 1758 (3 pages).
