Record information – Details Fonds/collection:LITTMAN, SolAccession:2006-0008Media:SoundPart:2 of 2Production date:1987 ?Production company:Sol Littman (Interviewer)Production credit:interviewer, Sol LittmanDescription:In conversation with Sol Littman, an unnamed male translates a set of documents, from German to English, regarding what appears to be an investigation into Ewald Heinrich Biegelmeyer (b. 21 July 1911), member of the WWII Nazi SS-RSHA, a subdivision of the Schutzstaffel (SS). The first item translated is a letter addressed to Sol Littman, dated 4 January 1987, from the States Attorney at Wiesbaden (Wiesemann Oberstaatsanwalt), regarding an inquiry by Littman for information on Worthoff, a man suspected of murder, and an investigation into Ewald Heinrich Biegelmeyer. An attempt is then made to translate a transcript, also sent by the States Attorney, from an interrogation conducted between 13th and 15th February 1963 at the county court of Wiesbaden, against the accused E. H. Biegelmeyer. The transcript deals predominantly with Beigelmeyer’s explanation of how he came to be a member of the SS-RSHA. <112mn>Language:EnglishNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
