At fifteen Oliver Cates has created a computer which transports historical figures from any time period to the present day, but only for 36 hours. After their short visit they return to the exact moment they left without a trace of memory of their adventures in the present day. The powerful computer is called VisiCron. Simon is Oliver's younger cousin back at home while his cousin is away at college. When he gets stuck on an invention of his own he uses the VisiCron to bring Oliver back home. Something malfunctions in the machine and it splits Oliver into two beings - one honest and one mischievous. The mischievous Oliver quickly sets out to cause havoc and get some revenge back at his old high school. The honest Oliver is concerned about the level of mischief his other half is capable of. Fearing he may lose his scholarship Oliver, with the help of his two little cousins, set out to bring the other Oliver back. Everyone shows the power of working together and learns the lesson that a sum is greater than its parts. <23mn 17s>
