The series follows the experiences of a fictional Italian immigrant family, the Alvaros, composed of Sara and Angelo, their son Mario, Sara’s father, Turi, and her brother, the simple-minded Momo. They own a family operated bakery in a community struggling to escape the effects of anti-Italian prejudice in the era of the second world war. In this episode, Mario escapes from the prisoner’s camp to be retaken, while Sara settles her debts. <44mn 44s>Language:EnglishNotes:Genre:DRAMADetailed holdings information: -
