Atkins' major involvement was with the Ottawa Drama League (as of 1946, the Ottawa Little Theatre). At the time of the interview Atkins was resident stage manager of the Ottawa Little Theatre. Atkins describes the development of the organization, its finances, and its social role. The involvement of Lords Bessborough and [Duncanon] are described with reference to the founding of the Dominion Drama Festival.
