Fonds consists of a bound copy of Todd's report submitted to Sir George Garneau, Chairman of the National Battlefields Commission, giving the details of a proposed park on the Plains of Abraham. Included is a letter, regarding the report from Arthur Sladen, private secretary to the Governor General, to Arthur Doughty, 21 March 1911.

Todd, Frederick G., 1876-1948 : Frederick G. Todd, born in 1876 at Concord, N.H. graduated from Massachusetts State College in 1895. In 1900, he immigrated to Canada and practised as a landscape architect at Montreal, Que., until 1940. He designed a system of driveways and parks, under the Ottawa Improvement Commission in 1903, for the federal government, and also provied design for other cities and towns in Canada. He acted as a town planning consultant for Aluminum Co. of Canada Ltd. He was responsible for design in several parks including Assinboine Park in Winnipeg, Man, St. Helen's Island Park in Quebec, and the National Battlefields Park in Quebec.
