The collection consists of the following: correspondence, 1810, 1815-1828; a paper written by Samuel Gale, 'Observations on the Report of the Select Committee of the House of Commons appointed to enquire into the Civil Government of Canada, etc. in 1828', 1829; and extracts from 'Religious Repertory', 1814 and from the 'Religious Orthodox Journal', 1813, which includes material concerning for example, Edmund Burke, the Roman Catholic Religion, Bible Societies, and the establishment of a Society for converting Jews.
