The photographs are arranged both numerically and (roughly) chronologically and depict Canadian Army operations in Northwest Europe during the Second World War. General note:

The prints in this album document Canadian army activities and operations in North West Europe from; Nijmegen, Elshout, Tilburg, Dutch-German border, Loteen and Hemmen, and Zetten. Subjects include; opening of Prisoners of War Exhibit in Brussels, the Red Cross in Turnhout, Christmas parties, various army hospitals including the underground hospital in Nijmegen, soldiers entertaining Jewish children, Canadian Railway and Telegraph Company, Maple Leaf staff, Canadian Woman's Army Corp, and Canada-Tilburg hockey game. The album also features the visit of John Bracken.
