Work was unframed in Sept. 1961, according to a note on the back of the print's cardboard mount., This is an example of the first state of this print. For an example of the second state published by Bowles & Carver see acc. no. 1973-18-231. This print is dated based on the years that Carington Bowles was located in St. Pauls Church Yard.
