The fonds contains a bio-bibliography of Suzanne Jacob, written by the author herself. See box 3, folder 4.

The title is based on the contents of the fonds.

In addition to text documents, the fonds contains 23 drawings, approximately 64 b&w and colour photographs, 10 large-format posters, 2 videocassettes, 3 33-rpm records, 1 compact disc and 3 audiotapes.

Photocopies and faxes on thermal paper were reproduced on low-acidity paper. Two asterisks following a descriptive note indicate that certain documents in the file require conservation work.

Several manuscripts were lost or destroyed by Suzanne Jacob. The manuscript of Flore Cocon was destroyed in a fire that damaged Le Biocreux publishing house.

With the exception of a few files, the original order of the documents has been retained, and the titles that Suzanne Jacob gave her files have been reproduced. Otherwise, a note indicates that the title was created by the archivist. The physical components of a given file are sometimes separated from each other for storage purposes or because of consultation restrictions. Photographs pasted in diary notebooks or used as postcards are kept with the textual record files of which they are a part. Other photographs (those not attached to a textual record), although described with the file of which they are a part, are stored in Box 12.

Posters that fit in the textual record folders are not counted or numbered; only large-format posters are counted.

Some restrictions on consultation, reproduction and publication exist. Access to records in Series 1: Personal Documents and Series 4: Correspondence is prohibited until 2040 without the written permission of Suzanne Jacob or her copyright holders. These records are grouped together in boxes 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9 of the fonds.
