The second watercolour, originally attached back-to-back to the first is a landscape scene called "Landscape with Two Mountains" on the I-list of file 705-1860; it was erroneoulsy referred to here as: Verso. Stylistically and by evidence of an inscription appearing on an original label (now unlocated) it can be surmised that both works are by the atist Edward Adams Clark. The watercolour of the landscape bears two ghost images where the original label was formerly attached to the recto at the right and left sides.

In 1986 Conservation slides (86-235) document that two watercolours were separated; the verso of each watercolour shows no incription; the two watercolours were housed in a back-to-back matte with windows on both sides at the time; in 2010 the watercolours were separated to be kept as two separate works (not called recto and verso); the second was given the number 1982-114-1a.
